IN THE EARLY SUMMER, WHEN THE MEDITERRANEAN IS AT THE HEIGHT OF ITS BEAUTY, we will sail to some of the most fascinating ancient sites and spectacular scenery in Europe and North Africa. And situated amid all this splendor are some of the finest golf courses in the Mediterranean. Almost every day you have the option of visiting historic sites, or playing at golf clubs, several of which have international reputations, while others will be new to you. Visit the magnificent remains of ancient Carthage in Tunisia, or play at the Carthage Golf Club located very close to the ruins. Wander through the beautiful medieval town of Bonifacio on the island of Corsica, and discover the Sperone Golf Club, a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. creation set high above the sea. Visit the work of modern masters at the museums of Nice and St.-Paul-de-Vence and play at one of the finest courses on the French Riviera, the Saint-Donat Golf Country Club.
